Philly voters wanted for national and local honors
Don’t think because the primary is over you don’t have to worry about voting until November. We’ve got pressing matters at hand, and they require your thoughts now.
Two very different efforts are being championed as we speak: the Best of Philly honors and yet another Travel + Leisure recognition.
Philadelphia magazine is sending its troops throughout the city to ask just one question each voter to help get the Best of Philly issue together. Their plea: please don’t ignore the clipboard-clad interns. Look for them and their Best of Philly gear so you can voice your opinions on matters like who’s got the best cheesesteak.
If you’re thinking bigger, then go vote in Travel + Leisure mag’s latest poll to help get Philly named to the 2011 Favorite Cities list. There are fewer of us than there are New York residents, but Mets fans are always saying something about us being loud and obnoxious. So go for it. Take the survey and show your Philly pride.
