Philly house for sale: Asking price — $6.2 million

The housing market may still be floundering, but a few select properties have some eye-popping pricetags.

Case in point, the Center City home designed by local architects David and Ligia Slovic. They built the 6,000 square foot glass-and-steel stunner in the ’90s. Traveling frequently to see their son, who lives in Brazil, and other family members around the globe, the couple decided to put their home on the market and move into an apartment they own nearby. The Wall Street Journal gives a mini tour of the pricey digs.
