Philadelphia’s Central Delaware Waterfront master plan is unveiled

Here it is, folks, 78 glossy (cyber) pages of visions for Philadelphia’s Central Delaware Waterfront.

The “master plan” was unveiled earlier this evening after years of preparation by the city and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, along with the help of several ground-level neighborhood organizations.

We wouldn’t dare try to summarize such a comprehensive report, so for that you’ll want to get the full details from Lizz Fiedler’s NewsWorks Tonight report.

The master plan package breaks down not just the development of the waterfront plans for the spanse between Allegheny and Oregon avenues, but how those plans were developed. The report also includes notes on financing and is sprinkled with pictures of what just might be the most beautiful-looking city ever. See for yourself.
