Philadelphia tops list of nation’s most tax-delinquent

Philadelphia’s not looking so hot in the headlines these days.

Between the flashmobs, post-anti-violence bowling event stabbing and now the news that we’re the most tax-delinquent city, we could use a little help in the PR department.

This series by PlanPhilly won’t make the city look better, but it’ll keep you interested and frustrated — maybe frustrated enough to do something.

Guess how delinquent we are. $472 million worth. If you can stomach more, check out the series, starting with this piece about the overall problem and directions toward hope.
