Philadelphia pizza named fourth-best in the nation
It’s that time of the week. Travel + Leisure has bestowed another honor upon Philadelphia: fourth-best pizza in the country.
Add that to a list that includes great beer, loyal sports fans and romantic scenery. But excuse us if we’re not whooping for joy over what seems like a back-handed compliment from the mag.
How does the mag qualify our ranking? By mentioning that we rank low for cocktail hour, physical fitness and friendliness ratings ratings. Aw, shucks.
Perhaps we’d be a bit thinner if you didn’t keep touting our beer and food scenes, and a bit nicer if you’d quit reminding us about our flaws. Anyone else starting to think our relationship with Travel + Leisure is a toxic one?
