Philadelphia Inquirer, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette to share content

Two of Pennsylvania’s newspapers have entered a content-sharing partnership to bring readers statewide coverage and special projects.

The Philadelphia Inquirer and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette will collaborate on things like the 2012 election coverage and an NFL preview package, as the Philadelphia Business Journal reports. Promotional deals and advertising are part of the partnership, as well.

The Inky is owned by Philadelphia Media Network Inc, which also owns Philly.com and the Daily News. The Post-Gazette is part of Toldeo-based Block Communications. The publications will share print and online content.
