Philadelphia Doo Wop Fest today on Penn’s Landing

    WHYY, the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation and the Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service Education Center are at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing today from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. for day-four of the Connections Festival.

    Today’s event, the Philadelphia Doo Wop Fest will feature performances from Fred Parris and the Five Satins; Philadelphia’s first Rock Star, Charlie Gracie and The Del Satins.

    The festival is free and open to the public. Throughout the day, WHYY members will have access to the VIP Member Oasis, where they’ll enjoy complimentary refreshments like Yards beer and Bassetts Ice Cream.
