Phase two of Yorklyn project starts
Revitalization project in Yorklyn enters second phase.
Governor Markell and DNREC Secretary Collin O’Mara will take part in a ceremony marking the completion of the first phase of the project which is designed to boost economic development while ecologically restoring the scenic area. The project will also add state parkland at the Auburn Heights Preserve. The first phase included demolition of the corporate headquarters of the former NVF manufacturing plant and zinc treatment facility.
