PGW lowers natural gas rates through the summer

Use natural gas? Then your bill just got lower.

PGW has announced a natural gas decrease for the quarter, so all customers — residential, commercial, industrial and municipal — can expect a slight discount on their bills.

The average customer can expect a 2.5 percent monthly decrease, according to the company, for about $35 in savings for the year.

PGW reviews its rates quarterly, so the latest decrease is in effect through Sept. 1. By then, the company will have determined what the rates look like for the next quarter.
