Pedestrian dies in accident in Burlington County, NJ

State Police are investigating the death of a pedestrian in an accident in Burlington County. 

New Jersey State Police Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams said Thursday the accident at southbound U.S. Route 206 at Garden Street in Southampton Township happened about 2 p.m. and involved one vehicle and left one person dead.

Williams says north and southbound lanes of the roadway are closed. He called the accident “very serious.”
