Christians kick off Holy Week in Roxborough

This Sunday, many Christians celebrated the official start of Holy Week at congregations throughout the city.

In honor of Palm Sunday, parishioners were given palm leaves, which were then folded into crosses, to commemorate Christ’s entrance into Jerusalem and journey to the cross.

Bas Slabbers went to St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church’s in Roxborough to snap photos of the special mass.
