Overnight violence in Philadelphia leaves four dead, three wounded
Over the span of what Philadelphia police are saying is just several hours, four people lost their lives to violence in different parts of the city.
Last night, just before midnight, officers responded to the shooting of a 26-year-old man in the Mantua section of the city, reported Philly.com.
The second shooting happened in West Philadelphia shortly after 1 a.m.
Just moments later, at about 1:15 a.m. another incident occurred.
According to ABC6, an apparent robbery attempt resulted in a bartender with multiple stab wounds. The victim, a 44-year-old man was found unconscious inside of T-Barr’s Place, a bar on the 2200 block of 8th Street in South Philadelphia. He was later pronounced dead.
Philly.com reports that it was just moments after that when shooting erupted during an East Falls block party that left a 33-year-old man dead and three others wounded.
