All lanes at the intersection are closed, according to 511nj.org. Brick police say detours are in place and that roadway closures could last “several hours.”

It was not immediately known if there are any injuries.

According to JCP&L, over 1,300 customers are without power as of 2:30 p.m. The utility expects restoration by 4:30 p.m. today.

    This is a developing story.
