One Lower Merion school remains closed, powerless

All but one Lower Merion school will open tomorrow following a three-day shutdown made necessary by Hurricane Sandy.

Harriton High School is still without power, according to a news release from the district, and will remain closed Thursday. That said, the first day back might not be smooth sailing for everyone. Many roads remain closed, and parents have been warned to expect school buses to be late. Students are also advised to dress warm as they return to buildings that have been without heat for a few days.

The township has recommended that trick-or-treating be moved from tonight to Sunday.
