Off-duty officer shoots attacking dog in Lawncrest

An off-duty police officer shot a pit bull Tuesday after the dog attacked his pet. It happened around 5 p.m. yesterday on the 400-block of Sentner Street.

According to reports, the pit bull managed to jump a fence and then fatally attack a poodle. That’s when the officer shot the pit bull, killing it.
