Odom, Yumy

    Yumy Odom founded the Frator Heru Institute in Philadelphia to develop strategies to help black families face their challenges.  He also founded the East Coast Black Age Comics Convention to help combat illiteracy through comic book art.  He formerly ran Temple University’s Pan-African Studies Community Education Program.
