Obama to talk energy innovation at Penn State

Earlier this week The Feed reported that President Barack Obama would be stopping in Central Pennsylvania to promote his “Plan to Win the Future” from Tuesday’s State of the Union address.

New details have been released that Obama will visit the Penn State Campus at University Park in State College on Wednesday, February 2.

During his visit President Obama will tour Penn State labs that specialize in solutions for creating energy-efficient building and he will talk about the importance of investing in clean energy to help strengthen the economy and create more jobs.

The labs at Penn State will serve as what the Department of Energy is calling an “Energy Innovation Hub” and is supposed to take the lead for creating more energy-efficient buildings in the Philadelphia area including the Navy Yard.
