Obama leads campaign donations in Pennsylvania so far

Pennsylvanians so far have given $3 million to presidential candidates, and about half has gone to President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.

Figures from the Federal Election Commission through Sept. 30 show Obama has collected about $1.5 million from donors in the state, and the many Republican candidates have each collected less than $500,000 in Pennsylvania.

The Associated Press has the breakdown of the three leading GOP candidates’ Pennsylvania donations:

    Mitt Romney: $460,000
    Rick Santorum: $360,000
    Rick Perry: $285,000
