President Obama visiting post-Irene North Jersey

    President Barack Obama will visit one of the North Jersey cities heavily affected by last week’s hurricane, the Associated Press reports.

    Obama will visit Paterson, the third-largest city in the state, and tour flooded areas with Gov. Chris Christie. The AP notes Obama will likely monitor a new tropical problem in the Gulf of Mexico: Tropical Storm Lee. Lee has flooded areas of Louisiana and Mississippi.
