Nutter will attend mixed-use development ground breaking on North Broad

Mayor Nutter will be rubbing elbows this afternoon with restaurateurs Stephen Starr and Marc Vetri. Along with others, the three will be on hand for the much-anticipated groundbreaking of 600 N. Broad St.

Two buildings on a full block parcel of land will be developed for mixed use — 39,000 sq ft. of retail space, plus a new residence. Starr and Vetri will open restaurants in the retail space, and at least one will be open this spring.

State Rep. Dwight Evans, Councilman Darrell Clarke, Deputy Mayor Alan Greenberger and Eric Blumenfel of EB Realty Management Corporation will also attend.
