Nutter expected to make ‘significant’ health care announcement at nurses forum

There are a lot of elements to today’s Nurses for Tomorrow forum, which is bringing 200 national nursing leaders under one roof.

That roof happens to be in WHYY’s event space in Old City, where topics will range from patient care to practice models to education. Mayor Michael Nutter is also stopping by with what Independence Blue Cross is calling a “significant new commitment to transforming health care.” Drexel University President John Fry will also be there for the mystery announcement.
