November trial date set for Quadrangle abuse charges

    A November trial date has been set for the three women accused of abusing an elderly woman at Delaware County’s Quadrangle assisted living facility.

     

    The Delaware County Daily Timres reports Ayesha Muhammad, 19, and Tyrina Griffin, 21, both of Philadelphia, and Samirah Traynham, 22, of Yeadon will face trial November 14.

    They’re charged with harassment, neglect, simple assault, conspiracy and recklessly endangering another person, but aggravated assault charges have been dropped and they remain free on bail. All three pleaded not guilty in July. The case began in April when the the Quadrangle resident’s family suspected abuse and recorded alleged incidents on video.
