(Not) made in Philly

    In the last 10 years, Philadelphia has lost 37 percent of its manufacturing jobs. A study by Buffalo Business first shows the city had more nearly 300,000 manufacturing jobs in November 2000, and just $184,200 in November 2010.

    The Philadelphia Business Journal reports only four other regions lost more jobs than Philadelphia, but 36 lost a higher percentage.
