Not even Supreme Court justices can escape Philadelphia Parking Authority

Say what you will about the Philadelphia Parking Authority, but there appeared to be no partisanship at work when an officer left a ticket on a car parked outside the Union League Monday. Because the car belongs to Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

The Constitution Daily has a photo of the ticket on Scalia’s windshield — right next to the official police business placard he left on the dash. And as the CD reminds us, Scalia has been known to rule conservatively in the high court, siding with the same GOP that dominates the Parking Authority.

That’s right, no one escapes the PPA.
