Northern Delaware elementary school starts academic year Tuesday
As many families continue their summer vacations, students at Claymont’s Maple Lane Elementary School are starting the new school year today.
It is the first day of classes for students through grade five, while kindergarten students will attend an orientation. Maple Lane runs on a different schedule than others in the Brandywine School District. Other BSD schools open for the 2012-13 school year on August 27th or 28th.
