Despite a mini-monsoon in the afternoon, Night Market descended on Northern Liberties Thursday night for the first Night Market of the season

More than 40 vendors set up shop on 2nd Street for the evening and a crowd of thousands packed the street from Fairmount to George. This was the fifth Night Market put on by The Food Trust, and yet again the street came alive with festive food trucks and throngs of curious eaters. Here’s what it looked like:
