NOH8 Campaign bringing pro-LGBT photo opp to Philly
Inspired by the 2008 defeat of Proposition 8 in California, a celebrity photographer began a national campaign in support of the LGBT community and gay marriage.
Philly Weekly reports the NOH8 Campaign is coming to the city next month, and all are welcome to participate in the photo-opp. Penn’s LGBT will host the photo shoot Aug. 5. Typical photos feature people posed with tape over their mouths and “NOH8” written on their skin.
The shoot does cost money, but the funds raised will go toward anti-discrimination efforts through media.
