No more ’60 Minutes’ for Andy Rooney
There will be something missing from future 60 Minutes broadcasts.
Andy Rooney, who contributed more than three decades’ worth of commentary to the news magazine, wrapped up his work there Sunday. The Associated Press reports the 92-year-old did 1,097 commentary pieces for the show before retiring.
Politico has video from Sunday’s farewell, in which Rooney requests some piece and quiet from fans as he ends his TV career.
