No arrests in Germantown fatal shooting
A 43-year-old man from West Mt. Airy died two hours after being shot in the back on the 5000 block of Tacoma St. in Germantown on Tuesday afternoon.
Sean Mathis, of the 6800 block of Sherman St., was shot at 4:40 p.m. as he was reportedly sitting in his girlfriend’s car.
When police arrived, they found the victim on the ground. He was then transported to Temple University Hosptial, where he was pronounced dead at 6:41 p.m.
Police said Wednesday that no arrests have been made in connection with the fatal shooting.
