Good morning, Feeders! As you fight off the cold weather today, stay tuned for a story from tonight’s School Reform Commission hearing about the School District of Philadelphia’s budget.

Before that, we’ll hear from Tom MacDonald about a PICA report that has some criticisms for the Philadelphia Fire Department, and from Lizz Fiedler about a Rutgers University study on paid family leave.
Carolyn Beeler will have details from an EPA hearing on fuel economy and new standards for auto makers, while she also looks into what’s being called an unfortunate event at a Bristol-Myers Squibb lab.

Emma Jacobs will report on a decision expected today from the New Jersey Highlands Council about a natural gas pipeline, while Peter Crimmins explores the staying power of a 60-year-old play.

Also today on NewsWorks, look for details on Del. Gov. Jack Markell’s state of the state address.
