The weather pattern through Monday is really summer-like: warm and humid, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day. The threat of precipitation increases each day.

But for today, North Jersey is at a higher risk of showers and thunderstorms than South Jersey. It’s a beautiful morning at the beaches, including in Ocean City. Comparatively, the risk of precipitation today is lower than tomorrow and Monday. A mixture of sun and clouds throughout the state, with temperatures in the low 80s at the coast, mid to upper 80s inland. We’ll start to clear late Tuesday, and temperatures will become more seasonable Wednesday.

BOAT/BEACH: There are currently no marine advisories. However, there is a moderate risk of rip currents, so always swim near a lifeguard. Southwest winds will increase throughout the day to about 15 mph. The ocean temperature is in the low to mid 70s. Low tide is shortly after 10:00 a.m.
