NFL concussion playoffs

    Let’s see…were there two or three concussions during the first weekend of the NFL playoffs?  It’s hard to keep track, what with endless loops of helmet to helmet hits, and dazed players being helped off the field.

    I’m a football fan.  I’ve loved the game since I was a kid. But as the evidence of widespread brain disease among players and former players, at all levels, piles up, it becomes impossible to ignore the fatal flaw in football:  because of our anatomy, head injuries can’t be prevented.

    As more and more parents keep their kids out of football, the endgame becomes clear.
