Newtown businesses will meet with Council to discuss struggles

Several Newtown business owners will meet with the Borough Council tomorrow to discuss the struggles that are putting the businesses in jeopardy.

State Street businesses like the hardware store, bike shop and deli could be forced to close their doors if businesses doesn’t pick up, PhillyBurbs reports.

Tomorrow’s meeting will take up the first hour of Council’s regularly scheduled work session, and business owners can use the roundtable to discuss the obstacles they’re facing and how the borough might be be able to help.
