News chase: the stories we’re chasing today

    Hey, Feed readers.

This snowy, winter-weather-warning day won’t keep us at WHYY from doing our jobs.

Here’s some of what we’re covering today:

Philadelphia’s getting a new Family Court building. Tom McDonald brings you the nuts and bolts on the funding and politics behind it, while Peter Crimmins reports on how it’s screwing up PAFA’s plans for its new plaza.

Dave Davies will hit up the city commissioners meeting — the last one with Marge T artaglione at the helm. Hopefully she won’t be in a fighting mood.

Elizabeth Fiedler’s got Christie talking about Camden, and a report on Michael Vick’s first paid endorsement deal since his Atlanta days.

We’ll also have some State of the Union follow up for you, including an analysis of the president’s comments on clean coal, and a story about a West Philly student who got to be there in person.

Finally: It’s cuddly weather, yes. But take heed — Meggan Kole’s following a story about the dangers of falling asleep with your pets.

Stay warm out there, Feed readers, and stay with the Feed for news updates all day.
