    Happening in City Hall: A Public Safety Hearing is slated for 2 p.m., during which time, Philadelphia City Council is expected to push for legislation prohibiting firearms owners with out-of-state licenses from carrying in the region. Tom MacDonald will report.

    Dog days: Philadelphia is experiencing a stray animal crisis. Dog wardens are required to pick up stray dogs, but where do they go? The city’s SPCA shelters are full. Tom MacDonald will also follow this story.

    Behind bars: Eastern State Penitentiary is cooking up a holiday treat. Peter Crimmins will explore the historic prison’s foray into gingerbread baking.

    Health watch: Did you know 80 percent of people with Parkinsons Disease also have dementia? Meggan Kole will evalute a study from the University of Pennsylvania that would test Parkinsons patients’ blood to determine the probability of dementia.
