They go into effect at students in Newtown, Conn., return to class for the first time since a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School left 26 people dead.

Lizz Fiedler is looking into the county police force that’s replacing Camden’s patrols, while she and Dave Davies analyze Tom Corbett’s suit over the Penn State scandal and what it means for the school and for Corbett.

Emma Jacobs will have the latest budget revenue numbers from New Jersey, and Peter Crimmins is catching up with fans (and some non-fans) of “Downton Abbey” ahead of the new season.
