New website in New Jersey aims to help nonprofits

A new website in New Jersey aims to help nonprofit organizations to find resources they may need from the state.

The Associated Press reports the Nonprofit Information Center portal now provides a one-stop shopping resource that includes information on funding sources and other resources from the state.

The directory is part of legislation signed by Governor Chris Christie.

The Center for Non-Profits tells the Associated Press the new portal is an “important first step” in making funding and compliance information available.
