New Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board chair is former Delaware County D.A.

The former state Attorney General and former Delaware County District Attorney, William Ryan is now the chairman of Pennsylvania’s Gaming Control Board.

Gov. Tom Corbett announced Friday Ryan will oversee the state’s 10 casinos. Corbett first named Ryan to the acting attorney general seat when Corbett forfeited the role to become governor. The Delco Times details Ryan’s history in the county.

He’ll officially take over Aug. 29, succeeding Gregory Fajt.
