New Eagles coach has just one goal in mind

The Philadelphia Eagles have introduced their new coach, the 21st in the team’s history.

All the new coach wants to do is lead a team to the Super Bowl.

Chip Kelly says he’s not worried about any politics because he’s doesn’t want to be the team’s general manager. All he wants to do is coach football, with one goal in mind.

“We have one goal and our goal is to get to the Super Bowl,” Kelly said. “We’re going to find a bunch of guys that are like-minded individuals that understand that the game of football is one that is played by everybody. It’s not an ‘I’ deal. it’s a team deal.”

Kelly says he isn’t ready to commit to Nick Foles or Michael Vick as quarterback or any players now on the team or available for acquisition.

“We’re going to put an offense on the field that is going to score points … that’s basically what we are going to do. Whoever that is, I don’t know,” he said as reporters peppered him with questions and cameras flashed. “I’ve got to get our staff together and make that evaluation.

There’s nobody ruled in. there’s nobody ruled out at this point in time,” said Kelly, who led the Oregon Ducks to a 46-7 record over four seasons.

Kelly says he also was advised to join the team by two former coaches, Dick Vermeil and Andy Reid.
