Indian River High School will have a new baseball coach this season and he’s a familar face to some of his new co-workers.

Kevin Cordrey takes over that role from Howard Smack who has had the job for the last 39 years.  Cordrey is a 1990 graduate of Indian River.  He played baseball at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware Technical & Community College.  He comes to Indian River High School from the Selbyville Middle School.   The season begins with the first practice on March 1.
