Names of 3 killed in Philadelphia home released

Authorities have released the names of three men gunned down in a northeast Philadelphia home — and investigators suspect that the murders may have been drug-related.

Police said Monday that 40- year-old Jason Stratos of Bristol and 40-year-old Ramon Ortiz and 30-year-old Sarith Mang of Philadelphia were found shot in the head in the Holmesburg residence late Saturday night.

A police spokeswoman said the motive was unknown, but Captain James Clark of the homicide division told The Philadelphia Inquirer that investigators believe the murders are connected to a drug operation of some kind. He said all three victims were known to police.

WCAU-TV reported that a sign on the door of the home reads “Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again.”
