Months-long sewer reconstruction begins in Camden’s Cooper Plaza

Sewer reconstruction was set to begin today in Camden’s Cooper Plaza neighborhood, kicking off months’ worth of work.

The emergency work will take place in the alleyway between the 700-block of Clinton Street and 700-block of Berkley Street, and will take about four months.

Neighbors are asked to move their non-permanent outdoor furniture, equipment, fixtures and appliances from the area, which is probably behooves them, given the alley will be closed during the work period.

Construction hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
