Montco commissioner recaps muder case tonight on TV show

Tonight on Discovery’s ID channel, Montgomery County Commission Bruce Castor will appear as an expert as the program takes a look back the 1996 murder of chef Jim Webb and the investigation that led to the conviction of his business partner, Guy Sileo.

Sileo was sent to prison in 2001 for Webb’s shooting death, and Castor was district attorney during the case.

“Cold Blood,” airing at 9 p.m., will re-examine Webb’s shooting death in Lower Merion and the subsequent investigation that led to Sileo’s first-degree murder conviction.
