Memorial dedicated to memory of Chad Spicer
Officials in Georgetown will dedicate a memorial for murdered Georgetown Police officer Chad Spicer.
Spicer was shot and killed on September 1, 2009. The ceremony unveiling the monument on the circle in downtown Georgetown will be held at 5 p.m. The man convicted of killing Spicer, Derrick Powell will be sentenced on May 20.
