McNabb vs. Vick

    Philadelphia’s past is catching up with the Eagles’ starting line-up this weekend as the team faces the Washington Redskins. Former Eagle Donovan McNabb now is Washington’s quarterback. It will be the first time the two teams face off since McNabb was traded and Michael Vick became the Eagles’ starter.

    Philadelphia’s past is catching up with the Eagles’ starting line-up this weekend as the team faces the Washington Redskins.  Former Eagle Donovan McNabb now is Washington’s quarterback.  It will be the first time the two teams face off since McNabb was traded and Michael Vick became the Eagles’ starter.

    Back when Donovan McNabb was still an Eagle, he endorsed giving Vick a second chance at the game and bringing him to the team.

    When asked whether the crowd should cheer or boo McNabb, Michael Vick offered some advice to fans.

    “Don gave a lot to the city of Philadelphia.  He dedicated himself and not only on the field but out in the community and it was known and I think that everybody is conscious of that and you know I think it should be a positive reaction, it will be a positive reaction.”

    Vick says he wants to win every time he steps on the field and for him the battle against McNabb is just another game.  He says he’s pretty sure McNabb feels the same way.
