McGeehan out

State Rep. Mike McGeehan has announced he won’t run to replace Joan Krajewski in Philadelphia City Council. Krajewski, who will retire in 2012 at the end of her term, backed McGeehan in the Democratic primary.
Heard in the Hall reports the news comes as McGeehan was sworn in to his 11th term in the 173rd District. He was also recently appointed the minority chair of the House Transportation Committee.
