The State of Cycling in Philadelphia

Thursday, May 31, 6:30-8pm. Storefront for Urban Innovation, 2816 W. Girard Avenue. From bike-share programs to complete streets, a new focus on cycling is reshaping urban transportation. Andrew Stober (Mayor’s Office of Transportation and Utilities), Alex Doty (Bicycle Coalition), John Chin (Chinatown Development Corporation) and others will discuss the impact of the two-wheeled revolution in Philadelphia. Ravens on the Rooftop

Thursday, May 31, 6-9pm. Free Library, 1901 Vine Street. Join The Raven Society, the Free Library’s supporters in their 20s and 30s, for a rooftop party above the Parkway Central branch complete with an all-you-can-eat cookout, drinks, prizes, silent auction, music, and a panoramic view of the city. Tickets are $30 before 5/30, $20 for Ravens, or $35 at the door.
