Mastery Charter wants 6th grade at two Renaissance Schools

    Two K-5 Mastery Charter Renaissance Schools are seeking to include sixth graders. Mastery-Smedley in Frankford and Mastery-Mann in West Philadelphia want to increase enrollment in an effort to keep students on the track they’re currently on.

    But as the Public School Notebook reports, the schools face uphill battles against district and charter regulations, including enrollment caps, building conditions and K-12 feeder patterns.
