Marchers want Philadelphia to end ICE agreement

Immigrant rights and faith groups around Phliadelphia are marching with a purpose this afternoon.

They want Philadelphia to end its PARS agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement that shares information from police bookings with immigration officials.

From Love Park to the Liberty Bell and onto City Hall, the New Sanctuary Movement will make stops along the way to discuss how the PARS agreement has personally affected some people. The march starts at 3 p.m.

As of last week, Mayor Michael Nutter had plans to renew the agreement.
