Manayunk woman charged with DUI after crashing into parked car on Green Lane

A 30-year-old Manayunk woman is being charged with DUI after crashing into a parked car on the 300 block of Green Lane, causing her own vehicle to flip over, according to police. The accident occurred Thursday night at about 10:30 p.m.

The Philadelphia Fire Department rescued Kelly Cook from her overturned 1996 Toyota Camry using “fire department tools,” executive chief Richard Davison said. He could not confirm what kind of tools were used.

Cook, from the 4500 block of Smick Street, was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center where she is in stable condition. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
